Good Morning...
Rise and Shine...
Dad got up around 5 again...
Kinda in the middle of my study time,
but it all works out :-)
Greens look nice...
These are going into the light today...
Look at the color difference with two days in light...
the chlorophyll really perks up!
Second day germination...
Here are the teeny egg innards...
this one actually had a bit of yolk forming...
Nothing in the long bullet shaped one...
Something strange in the other...
Out to the Barnyard...
The sky was red
but it is hard to tell in a picture...
Gave the fur creatures (Goats and Bunnies)
some Comfrey...
She is a unicorn...
Lanny mowed early to avoid the heat
and just in case it rains today...
it is supposed to...
Made the men some French Toast Sticks
and Sausage for Breakfast...
they are going to go down to the Big Pond
and fish til it gets too hot...
Basil and Cilantro are finished freeze drying...
I just crush by hand
but can put thru the small grinder
if I need it powdered as I use it...
It is so green and smells so good...
Much better than when I dehydrate it...
I made the prettiest Tomato Sandwiches for lunch
and was so ready to eat that I didn't take a picture..
you'll just have to take my word for it :-)
Then, David the Ferrier came over to show us how to trim our Kids hooves...
they didn't need trimming... seems they have enough natural landscape
that keeps them pretty trim.
But there were some ragged edges
that he showed us how to take care of
so we are ready when and if they DO need trimming...
They did real good...
didn't fuss or get panicked...
and Fiona didn't even faint!
I was SO glad...
I made Egg Salad Sandwiches for supper...
Seems we all love them
and heaven knows I do have enough duck eggs
to make it at least once a week, or ten days...
Added fresh sliced tomatoes and some chips...
YUM!!!
No sure what will be on the big screen tonight...
we watched American Graffiti last night...
Lanny will pick something good...
he always does...
