Out to the Barnyard!

Basil is OUT of the freeze dryer..

Smells SO good!!!

Waffles, Sausage and Sliced Banana 

for the Men's Breakfast...

And the peels for the Kids...

And a couple of the hens wanted some too..

Paula brought over a little snake 

that Luke had just killed...

Nebula grabbed it and ran...

no one could catch her!

Sparkley Day...

Ham Sandwiches for lunch...

ALL the chicks were up here by the gate...

they are getting along a little better...

Took a very short rest...

I only had 20 minutes before the bread would be finished rising...

But the pups will take any time they can get...

I thought I would try an Herb Dinner Roll

using the recipe from my Herb Bread...

Not perfected yet :-)

But pretty good...

I want to work on it a bit more Sheila before I offer it for sale :-)

but I might bring you the first try sample if you are game :-)

Oh, and I am getting so many orders for rolls that I am running out of pans!!

Not a bad predicament, but, let me know your preference...

it is the same number of rolls and the same amount of dough...

just a different shape... 

The rolls won't come in a pan 

but I have to bake several at a time and just don't have 6 or 8 round pans... 

but I CAN mix 'em up! :-)

Paula went to a friends Labor Day Gathering

so it is just the three of us...

but you saw it Sunday (haha)...

Oh, and Angel the Koi is still alive 

and is swimming around the pond a bit and eating...

HOPEFUL!!!

If she lives we will have to get her a few friends...

Chores are done...

ready to settle down on the couch with the pack

and watch the end of Spartacus...

it is a long movie and we can never finish it in one night :-)
