and now it's time for the Barnyard Duties...

They had a little time outside today...
once it starts raining they head for the shelter...

For Supper I made some Black Eyed Peas...
peppers, onions, bacon, celery sautéed first
and then into the InstaPot!!!
YUM! Served over Cornbread...
Also some left over taters from the canning and mixed veggies...
I do odd things but they usually turn out well.
It was DELISH!!!
Dad is having a harder and harder time
coming to the table...
but I want to keep him eating in here with us
as long as possible...
He is sleeping more
(during the day)...
But stays up most of the night...
Our son James called last night...
he had a biopsy and the nodes in his neck are cancerous...
He will have some scans next week and know a little more about it.
...the doctor is very optimistic... it was caught early.
Keep him in your prayers as well as Paula.
She will get her port Tuesday...
