Good Morning World!!

Ready for Dad...

he got up around 4:15 this morning...

I guess he will be back to his normal routine...

Lanny's morning ritual now...

get a good fire going at 4AM...

So we can cozy up with our pack on the couch

and do our Bible Study...

All is well in the Green Room...

Hung up the calendar that James got Mom and Dad

many years ago...

Now it's mine and Lanny's...

fits the wood stove wall perfectly!

He is making a dent in my head rest!

Making laundry detergent...

hope you like yours Sheila...,

remember, it does NOT suds...

suds do not cleaning make :-)

Since I moved my cast iron out

I can hang my serving baskets...

Out to the Barnyard...

not cold but WET!

Baby says, no!

I think I will stay in!

The chickens don't mind...

Nor do the ducks...

The goats are not lonely when it rains...

the chickens run in and out!

Waiting for the big load of wood to get here...

The detergent gels up when it cools

and is ready to put on the shelf...

I mix it half and half 

with water

to use...

This is a BIG load of wood!

10' long, 4' high x 36" deep...

14 to 18 inch cuts two layers deep...

That ought to last us a little while...

there are three of us burning it 

but it IS a lot of wood.

We still have a couple sources to get more

Lanny will go over and cut some fallen trees 

and haul the wood over here...

Fried Baloney Sandwiches for Lunch...

Then a short little snooze...

Max joined us...

Sparkly Day...

Cut lettuce for tonights salad,

BUT... I leave a LOT for my critters...

They LOVE it,

and it is SO good for them.

I think I will start planting more 

so they can have it more often...

We had Breaded Chicken Breasts, Broccoli,

Stewed Potatoes, Garlic Sourdough Toast,

and Salad!

Tonight I think we will watch 

"The Shift"...

it is on the Angel Studios App...

"Sound of Freedom" is on there too,

so we will probably try to watch that tomorrow...

I say try, because streaming 

is not alway great up here in this barn :-)
