I got the fire started
and then Lanny came in and took over
so I could get Daddy settled in...
Then we settled in for our Quiet Time
Bible Study...
and Puppy Pack Time :-)
Green Room Update...
Lettuce about ready to start picking...
Teenage Lettuce...
Toddler Lettuce...
Infant Lettuce :-)
I listen to iHeart Radio on the Smart TV
and every morning they greet me with my favorite!!!
Sunflowers!!!
Maggie and Max...
touching...
Out to the Barnyard...
It almost feels warm today!!!
New snow is gorgeous...
old snow is SO nasty looking...
especially around farm animals!!!
Gave the girls a tray of Microgreens!!
Pulled some out for the chickens...
Lazy Dog Days...
My Wood Choppin Man...
we go thru it these days!!!
So...
he is gonna get his truck down the hill...
drive a bit, shovel a bit...
I told him to wear his seatbelt :-)
For lunch we had left over Chili Mac!!!
YUM...
And then we had a little Siesta...
As you know, Paula and Molly and Lanny were shoveling on the driveway yesterday... Lanny got back at it after lunch
and has it double tracked all the way to the bottom...
That little stick person is Lanny...
I didn't want to go all the way down...
because then I would have to walk all the way up...
150 yards of driveway, at least,
ALL UP HILL!!!
He brought the truck down...
parked it...
shoveled some more...
Little by little
'til he was able to drive it all the way down!!
And eventually it was passable...
ALL THE WAY to the bottom...
he actually went to Tractor Supply for me
because we were totally out of layer and goat feed!!!
Free at last...
Paula can go to Radiation tomorrow
and then she and I will get some groceries...
I didn't take orders this week
because I wasn't sure that we would be able to get out tomorrow...
but next week we will get back to normal :-)
*****
Dandy and Takoda are just fine
with snow and cold weather :-)
And my critters are getting happier as well...
it is a bit warmer and the snow is not quite as deep...
I made Chicken Tenders, Yellow Rice with Peppers
and Fries for Supper...
When Paula doesn't join us I always make her a take out box :-)
She is often in the middle of horse duty with Shelly
and sometimes just wants to eat a bit later than we do...
Well, the goats got a bit of grain tonight
and the chickens will have plenty of feed in the morning...
I added a bale of pine flakes to the chicken coop...
it was pretty damp from the gang
hanging around in there all week messing it up...
I say gang, but I mean DUCKS!!!
They are such messy little boogers!!!
Tonight we will finish
"Pearl Harbor"...
it is a long one :-)
Goodnight Family and Friends...
God bless you ALL
and
Sweet Dreams!!
