Saturday on Walden's Mountain... February 10

Quiet Time...

“God decided in advance to adopt us into His own family
by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ.
This is what He wanted to do,
and it gave Him great pleasure.”

Ephesians 1:5

*****
Good Morning Saturday!!!

Dad didn't buzz me one time!
I still don't sleep soundly because I am on the alert,
but it was a very nice night!!

I was in the bed for 6 hours and 20 minutes
with 3 hours and 55 minutes of restful sleep!!

Pack Time...
Bible Study!

Max is still smelly,
but it isn't horrible!

He likes to hold his Daddy's hand...
Lanny isn't allowed
to use the hand for anything but petting :-)

Third day of Germination...

Murphy was not feeling well again this morning...
he has probably been out there eating moss or algae...
but I did get him to eat some food...
little by little...
And he was fine by mid morning
and ate his supper as usual :-)

Not sunflowers to start the day this week,
but very pretty flowers..
It IS "Sunny Radio" after all,
so of course it is all summer pictures!

Here come some Sunflowers!

Breakfast Time...

...Waiting...

Love the fire!

Out to the Barnyard...
supposed to rain today...

Maggie on the hunt...

Lanny and I gave the Living Room
a good cleaning this morning...
Since I slept a bit more I figured I'd put my energy to good use!!

He did the baseboards,
I did some walls and cleaned the furniture
and oiled the wood stuff...
it feels SO good when we do it...
that will help me even if I am tired :-)
It just "feels" clean!

Dad actually ate half a sandwich
and some chips
for lunch...
he seems a bit stronger
and is staying awake more during the day
and it did help last night...
since he didn't buzz me...

And you can see Casey is still begging,
but Dad promised he would NOT feed that dog!!!

We made our version of Freddy Burgers for Supper...
well, we flattened the beef...
it was really good...
but not exactly like Freddy's :-)

Paula fried some Mushrooms as well
so we were all stuffed...

Daddy ate half a burger and three tater tots...
hopefully he will get stronger and stronger every day...
also, I may see if we can get a physical therapist out
next week to try to strengthen his legs and left arm...

Kitchen is clean...
Lanny picked up puppy piles in the rain
and I ran out and put the goats in and got them situated for the evening...
the chickens and ducks are on their own :-)

Tonight we will watch the third Star Trek in the Kelvin Timeline...
"Star Trek Beyond"...

Goodnight Family and Friends...
Say a prayer that Dad sleeps thru the night
and so do I :-)

God Bless
and
Sweet Dreams!!
