Thursday on Walden's Mountain... February 29

Quiet Time...

”How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them!
If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand. When I awake,
I am still with You. Search me, O God, and know my heart;
Try me and know my anxious thoughts;
And see if there be any hurtful way in me,
and lead me in the everlasting way.“

Psalms 139:17-18, 23-24 NASB

*****

These were yesterday's egg...

Begging for Animal Crackers...

We are in the eggs again...
I already freeze dried 4 dozen in the last couple weeks...
Anyone local need eggs!?
I got 'em!

Maggie joined Max for this shift...

Making Pumpkin Bread for orders...

Ready to bake...

Soaking some Pinto Beans for Supper...

YUM!!
The house smell SO good...
Like Pumpkin Bread!!

Here are a couple afghans I made for Mom many years ago...
I am going thru hers and Dad's stuff
and she had these folded in a big basket she kept by her bed...

She used/displayed them for years
so they are a bit faded...

George and Bert gave us a nearly new refrigerator/freezer...
Paula needed a new one so we gave it to her...
this was her old one.
It is now out in the Common Area...

And the old Double Wide that was here when we moved in
and on it's last leg has been retired and will be used as pantry!!
Bugs and rodents cannot get in so it is an excellent pantry!

Lanny is cleaning it up for me...,

I made Black Forest Ham Sandwiches for lunch...

Then Lanny ran to Oak Ridge to get more wood at the Country Club...
Paula and I went down to Clinton to buy some groceries!
And of course, we passed my critter friends!

Came home and rested a few minutes with Lanny before I started dinner...
My Barnyard Kids enjoying the afternoon sun...

Had our favorite Country Dinner...

Pinto Beans, Cornbread, Fried Taters,
Greens and Sliced Onions!!!

Chores are done...
Jammies are on...
Time to settle down on the couch with the Pack,
a fire in the fireplace,
and a movie on the Big Screen...

"Men in Black" #3

Goodnight Family and Friends...
God Bless
and
Sweet Dreams!
