Thursday on Walden's Mountain... March 28

Quiet Time...

”And He said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.”“

Matthew 22:37-40

*****
This was the Goat Cam picture at 7 last night...
they don't mind being put in the house
in the evening...

Good Morning Thursday!

Study Time with the Pack...

He got fussed at a couple times this morning...
he got a little too cavalier with those claws!

Day one germination...
you can already see the splitting seed and tiny buds
in less than 24 hours!!

Day two in Black Out...

4 week old lettuce...

Sunflower Good Morning!

My basket...
I am not thrilled with it
but I am not going to toss it in the trash
OR unroll it :-)

Out to the Barnyard...

My Fan Club!

Lanny is already working up a sweat...
spreading crush and run around the arbor posts...

Resting with the Kids!

Begging for Animal Crackers!

No fire,
but Casey is pretending...

They love to have their
pine boughs propped up
so they pretend it is a tree...

Gave them some Microgreens..

After I harvested some for us...

And some Sparkly Berries...

"Is that all?!" :-)

I can't remember if I showed you Dad's foot stone
that is provided by the Military...

The chickens love it when I do some weeding
and throw it over the fence :-)
The goats turned over all the chairs!

Made us a Black Forest Ham Sandwich for Lunch...

Then we rested a while...

I had Maggie in my lap and Murphy
cuddled by my leg...

Already a Honeysuckle flower
on our American Honesuckle...

Baby ALWAYS wants to help!

...the mint is coming up...

I am putting some rocks around the edge of the pond
to try to keep the chickens from scratching and throwing
mulch into the water...

The ducks are starting to turn blue :-)
from the dye I put in the water
to shade so the algae doesn't take over...

Still working on the arches...

The chickens love it when I turn over pots or rocks...
there are always yummy worms and bugs under there...

The ducks like it too!

Paula is spreading some of the gravel
on a low spot in front of her house...

And Lanny is finishing up around the archway...

Pups are watching the Common Area...

We wondered why we weren't
getting any duck eggs for the last couple days...
we found them...
they were laying them behind a lattice panel
leaned up against the barn!
Little Buggers!!!

For Supper I made some
Corn Pups,
Fries
and Salad...
Quick and Easy!

We will watch
:"Braveheart"
tonight!

Goodnight Family and Friends!
God Bless
and
Sweet Dreams!
