Quiet Time...

“Though the fig tree should not blossom and there be no fruit on the vines, though the yield of the olive should fail and the fields produce no food, though the flock should be cut off from the fold and there be no cattle in the stalls, yet I will exult in the Lord, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength, and He has made my feet like hinds’ feet, and makes me walk on my high places. For the choir director, on my stringed instruments.”
Habakkuk 3:17-19

We went back out last evening to check on some things and found
this guy BACK in the coop looking for eggs... he didn't find any :-)
I just let him go over the fence to the woods...
he can eat all the mice and rats he wants...
And this was the egg haul...
Thirteen!
Lanny also decided to mow late...
it sure needed it...
*****

Sunning...
Heading down to Summit Medical
for our yearly Medicare Wellness exam...
After our appointment...
oh, and by the way,
Lanny and I are "incredible, amazing,
inspiring...." both of us have an A++ on our health...
Lanny is diabetic but he has it under control
and I just have leg cramps and sciatica...
We are good for another year :-)
Oh, and after our appointment...
we went over to a friends house to pick up some fish...
she has a pond that she can no longer care for and
we took 8 of her koi/carp fish...
most are dark so the only one you can see
here is the orange one...
Anyway, I will keep you posted...
hopefully they will get used to us
and come out when I feed...
Since it was 3:30 when we got home
we ordered a pizza and Lanny ran down to pick it up...
Then when we went out to put the goats up
and check eggs
we found this booger in our favorite
egg laying hole...
full of at least two eggs...
hard to see it in this photo
but easy to see when we picked him up...
I think this is a different one
because he his pretty big...
this one will not be left behind the coop...
he already tasted the prize
so Lanny is going to take him down to the little pond...
Only 6 eggs made it to the house today :-(
Goats are put up,
feed is up also...
Pup Piles are disposed of...
Ready for the evening...
and the next X-Men...
Goodnight All...
God Bless
and
Sweet Dreams!
