Monday on Walden's Mountain... June 10

Quiet Time...

🌻🌺

““Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great was its fall.””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭24‬-‭27‬ ‭

Good Monday Morning...

My little buddies...
they love to snuggle,
and I love for them to...

And especially love it when
the whole pack is together...
morning birds and frogs as well...

Third day sprouts...

I am enjoying my evening crochet...
I am going to put some of the yellow ones in the living room...
perhaps I will work on the deco color for each season and then
just use them in my house...
maybe I will gift some as well.
It is keeping me from snacking so much :-)
I find it hard to just sit still even when watching a movie...
doing something with my hands helps a bit :-)

Out to the barnyard...

Maggie is excited...

Still roosting on the lattice...

Maggie on the hunt...

Pup Pile Patrol...

Some Oak leaves blew into the yard
yesterday in the storm...
The goats love 'em!

Working on his breakfast masterpiece...

We went down to get some
branches for the goats...
the webs were glistening with dew
all over the woods...

So pretty this time of year...

Found some Elderberry...
It is toxic to the goats
so we had to cut down the one we had in the yard...
we will keep an eye on this wild one
and harvest as needed...

Gave the girls the goodies he cut for them...

This is the Tree Swallow nest...
so perfect and so clean...

I took it out so another pair can build and nest...
Bluebirds have been eyeing the nest box today :-)

Rob is working out on his deck...

I don't know much about it,
but Lanny is very proud of this invention
he made to pull his Swisher mower
with the truck...
the original hitch was too high
so he has made one lower...

He used chains, bolts, metal strips...
and it is working...

Ran down to the parts store
and to Food City...

Then came home and snoozed a bit...

Ruminating in the sun...

Lanny saw a Momma and Baby
as he was mowing the Grand Meadow...
TOOOO cute!

Warmed up the left over
Beans and Rice for Supper...

We will button up the barnyard in a bit
and settle down for the evening...
Tonight we will watch
"The Alamo"
with John Wayne and a bunch of
favorite stars!!

Tomorrow morning REAL early
I will take Paula to MMC
for a Heart Cath...
Say a prayer for her please.
She did not take her Immunotherapy today...
until we find out what is causing all these problems
she is going to postpone them.

Good night All...
God Bless
and
Sweet Dreams!
