The Egg Hunt!
I was giving them a bit of grain
on the platform
in the mornings,
but the chickens seem
to get the most
of it....
So, now I give it to them in their house...
Elsa ran in as soon as I opened the gate...
she was ready to lay an egg in her favorite spot...
Anna had other plans...
I found one later in the mint patch...
probably hers...
Pup Pile Pickup...
Breakfast Audience...
Making some Pumpkin Bread
for orders and for Nolan :-)
Lanny is still a bit under the weather
so we sat out on the porch for a while
with the fur kids...
and our coffee...
Harvested some greens for Rob and Molly...
Max found his Happy Place...
They like the stems and roots...
Ruminating in the morning sun...
Sprouting some Mung Beans
for Rob...
He loves to stir fry with them...
Made us a Peanut Butter and Jelly Roll Up for lunch...
Lanny had picked some Raspberries
yesterday...
We sat down for a bit after lunch...
as usual :-)
Then we headed for the dump...
Fascinating watching
the chew up machine at the dump :-)
I am easily amused!!
Heading up our driveway...
After Lanny checks the mail...
For supper we had
Pintos, Stewed Taters, Greens
and Cornbread...
YUM!
So, the chores are done...
the yard is picked up,
we are ready to call it a day!
