Hello Saturday!

Too warm already...

didn't open the door this morning...

"Where is my Daddy?"

Cuddle Buddies...

"There he is!"

Quiet Time Bible Study...

Sometimes they get a little warm

and have to come out of the covers...

at least the head comes out :-)

Time to take care of my indoor garden...

Fur kids are fed

and now out to the Barnyard Kids...

Maggie is ready...

Casey and Murph came out too...

She is still broody...

she is sleeping under the step

and we keep taking her eggs

but she won't quit...

Lanny sat her here to check for eggs

(the other ladies are laying eggs over and around her

and she is pulling them under to brood)...

she stayed here for a few minutes and 

then went back to work...

I hate for her to do this

because she gets so thin...

they don't hardly eat or drink

when they are broody...

I LOVE clouds!!!

Always reminds me of the Lord God!

Time to harvest...

Tray out to the critters...

Also gave them the oldest

tray of lettuce...

I have cut on this for two weeks...

The two new girls...

they are still sleeping on the back fence behind the platform

and staying pretty much to themselves...

Working on his MULE!

Gotta get that broken belt off

and a new one on...

he ordered a belt...

Sparkly Day...

And berries to the barnyard crew...

I ran down to Food City

for a couple things I need for tomorrows dinner...

passed my Camel buddies...

I sure would love to have a camel of my own...

HaHa!

Shetlands...

Working on his Tee Box...

Had the left over Left Over Soup

for lunch :-)

Still YUMMY!!

And then a nice little snooze...

Checking for eggs...

we try to do it three or four times a day

just in case the snakes are on the prowl...

Hummer on the feeder...

Mostly they are eating from my plants...

the honeysuckle seems to be a winner...

lots of trumpet vine as well...

Had something new tonight...

We had some steak left over from the last time we had

steak and taters...

I cook our steaks medium rare.

So, I sliced it really thin,

sautéed (until caramelized) some onions,

bell peppers and mushrooms...

added the steak just to warm thru,

and provolone cheese to melt

and made 

Philly Cheese Steak Quesadillas!

YUM!!

Lanny had to put salsa on his

but Paula and I put a dab of sour cream

and it was SO good...

We had a Sunflower Crunch Salad

and chips...

This will be repeated!!!

Kitchen is clean,
chores are done...
Chickens and Goats are ready for the evening...

we will be soon...

Jammies and the next "Chosen"

are in our future...
