“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

the front one is only half done...
it will be pretty big...
Out to the Barnyard...
Egg Hunt...
...one of our new ladies,
the red one,
was dead under the step...
no marks and nothing
we could determine as the cause...
just no way to know :-(
Pup Pile Patrol...
Another batch of cheese in the freeze dryer...
second one this week...
5 pounds of shredded cheese...
one of my favorite things
to have on hand!!!
Four Bluebird eggs in our nest box...
Four pounds of white bread dough...
the kids are home and helping their Dad (Robbie)
on his construction jobs...
so they are VERY hungry young men!!!
I knead it about half way in the machine,
then I finish by hand...
it's getting harder and harder
with my old hands...
Fun day for the girls!
They LOVE when Lanny brings the MULE in...
Especially Baby...
she would drive it if we'd let her :-)
Lanny brought some rock in
to put on a really messy watering area...
when he moved the stand
there were tons
of worms!!
Baby wants to help...
always!!!
"Looks good Dad!" :-)
She inspects everything!!
Fiona has always been a little nervous about the MULE...
But she overcame her fear today!!!
Little by little...
Whew! Great First Rise!
Four loaves,
ready for second rise...
Chicken Soup with
Veggies, Onions, Garlic, Kale...
all freeze dried!
YUM!
We headed to town so Lanny could go to the bank
AND stop and grab a Frosty from Wendy's...
we grabbed one for Paula too :-)
A young doe was crossing the driveway
as we went down...
The Bulls and Zebu Cows...
And Camels, of course...
Lounging in the shade...
We sat down for a few minutes...
I have cinnamon rolls rising
so I didn't stay long...
Long enough for my big baby
to get her cuddles...
I cut one last BIG salad from this tray
and then took it out to the Barn Kids!
They love it...
Cinnamon Rolls out of the oven...
I'll ice them when they cool a bit...
For Supper
we had some Left Over Fried Rice
with added Chicken Thighs
and a Big Salad!
YUM!!
For your viewing pleasure...
The chores are done...
We are ready to settle down on the couch
with each other
and the fur kids...
Tonight we will watch
"The Sting"
if I can find it on Paramount Plus
or Amazon Prime...
we will rent it...
Goodnight Family and Friends...
God Bless
and
Sweet Dreams...
