Saturday on Walden's Mountain... July 20

Quiet Time...

🍎🍒

“Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth. Let another praise you, and not your own mouth; A stranger, and not your own lips. Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. As in water face reflects face, so the heart of man reflects man. Know well the condition of your flocks, and pay attention to your herds;”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭27‬:‭1‬-‭2‬, ‭17‬, ‭19‬, ‭23‬ ‭

“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion; Who satisfies your years with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle. The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear Him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. Just as a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him. For He Himself knows our frame; He is mindful that we are but dust. But the lovingkindness of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, and His righteousness to children’s children, to those who keep His covenant and remember His precepts to do them. Bless the Lord, all you works of His, in all places of His dominion; Bless the Lord, O my soul!”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭103‬:‭1‬-‭5‬, ‭8‬, ‭11‬-‭14‬, ‭17‬-‭18‬, ‭22‬ ‭

“Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭15‬

Hello Weekend!

It's Saturday...

Pups in place...

Everyone present and accounted for...

Even Max!

My progress last night...
one more row and it's finished...

Watered and tended the Garden...

Lanny working on his masterpiece...
he and Rob are working today...
trying to get everything ready
to start actually building the house!

YUM!

And he has his usual beggar audience!

Licking Max's plate...

On my own again...
out to the barnyard...

Waiting to head out with me...

Lucy is still hanging back...

Maggie is checking for rodents...

Not sure if you can really tell,
but there is a big beautiful bumble bee
sipping on Honeysuckle nectar...

Hosta

Planted a new tray of microgreens...

...and lettuce...

Paula and I ran down to Tractor Supply
and to Aldi's...
we stopped to get a burrito...

And, we ran by the construction site...
they are working on a big stump...

Once it is out of there they
can proceed a bit faster toward
getting the foundation going...

We got .30" rain...
we will take it!!!

I sat down with the fur kids for a few minutes...
I had them ALL!!!

And Casey was snoring immediately...

Then when I went out to check for eggs
Maggie decided to sun bathe
since I didn't let her out into the barnyard with me...

I found some EXTRA THICK Bologna
and absolutely HAD to make a sandwich...
Lanny said it was DELISH!!
Easy Supper...
Added our very own tomatoes :-)

Not horribly hot...
headed out to get the critters ready for bed...

Kermit thought he was hiding...
can't hide from me :-)

We are ready to call it a day...
Lanny doesn't get too awful tired
because he is sitting in an air conditioned
cab in that dirt mover...
but it is still mental work
and that often is more tiring...

Tonight we will continue with John Wayne in
"Sons of Katie Elder"...

Goodnight All...
God Bless
and
Sweet Dreams!!
