Quiet Time...
π³π
“Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman keeps awake in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to retire late, to eat the bread of painful labors; For He gives to His beloved even in his sleep. Behold, children are a gift of the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; They will not be ashamed when they speak with their enemies in the gate.”
Psalms 127:1-5
“Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?”
Matthew 6:26 NASB1995
“This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.”
1 John 5:14-15
“for through Him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father.”
Ephesians 2:18
"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves."
Philippians 23

A really Kute picture of Paula's Katie :-)
Good Morning Saturday...
Looks like rain today...
it is cloudy.
We welcome the rain right now :-)
Hurry up Mommy,
I am ready for a snuggle...
And sure enough, he got to me first...
so Maggie is highly offended...
But as always,
she gets over it :-)
Bible Study Pack Time...
We got nearly half an inch
yesterday evening...
We will take it!!
Progress on a new one last night...
I like this pattern as well
and I had several skeins of this color yarn
from a free stash...
Ready for Black Out...
And this one is ready for harvest!
First baby lettuce sprout...
Yum!
And waiting for
nibbles from Daddy...
Lanny loves wearing his
coal miner head light...
Working on his weedeater invention...
Out to the Barnyard!
Poor Willow...
I am afraid she will NEVER look the same...
That is Bucky beside her...
he adores her, obviously! :-)
Pepper...
off the nest...
One duck egg in the coop floor...
Lanny utilizing his head lamp :-)
It WAS still a little dark
when we went out...
Raising one side of the Sun Shield
so it won't collect water...
yesterday's rain pulled it down...
This Lady LOVES her roses...
Buffy...
Penelope and Barbara...
Gave them a couple trays of the
wheat grass I have been growing...
... thru the screen door...
Hummers are going crazy right now...
I LOVE watching them
play fight!!
Lucy and Ethel...
Smooches from my Fella!
Paula letting the horses out for the day...
Hard to see him thru the wet window,
but he is cutting away the overgrown
weeds and shrubs from
back of the barn windows...
it is a steep hill so we don't
get back there much...
but I wanted to see the
meadow as I sit here
and work on my crafts...
He has his chain saw
and his big weed eater...
Look at this awesome award for our
Miss Sadie!!!
Heading down to Oak Ridge...
We should have bought stock
in Home Depot!!!
We went down to Home Depot for another blade
for Lanny's weed eater and for some
shin guards...
We will have to order the shin guards...
We stopped at Freddy's because
I had some reward points
for a free sandwich and fries...
it is still expensive, but not so much
when you get half free :-)
The Construction Chronicles...
Finally got that huge stump OUT!!!
Rob said they may actually start framing soon...
First they will pour the concrete slab...
I think they are having TOO much fun
to call it work :-)
We took our customary snooze
when we got home...
They are SO silly...
this one is sitting on the ant mote
making sure NO ONE ELSE gets any food...
they guard more than they eat!
Rob and Nolan are putting in
a glass sliding door
for Nolans room...
He starts at UT on Monday
and they would like to get most of the
room done before then...
Cut a try of Microgreens for Rob and Molly...
Roots and stems to the girls!
Rob putting in a window and a sliding door...
that boy KNOWS what he is doing...
he learned it from his Dad :-)
Lanny is gonna eat some left overs for his supper...
I will let him choose.
I am still full, so snacks will do for me later...
*****
Well, I said we were finished with Marvel...
actually we have two more movies in that series
but "Endgame" was the end of the Avengers to me....
...we have a Thor and
another Guardians of the Galaxy...
Tonight is
"Thor: Love and Thunder"
We've only watched it once (it's kind of new)
and we weren't super impressed.
But we like to give them a chance or two...
sometimes we warm up to them.
And this one brings back "Jane Foster"
(Natalie Portman) and we like her!
Anyway, I will let you know :-)
Goodnight Family and Friends...
God Bless
and
Sweet Dreams!!
