Thursday on Walden's Mountain... September 12

Quiet Time...

πŸ‚πŸ

“Is anyone among you suffering? Then he must pray. Is anyone cheerful? He is to sing praises.”

‭‭James‬ ‭5‬:‭13‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

““Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. “Blessed are the gentle, for they shall inherit the earth. “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. “Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭3‬-‭12‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

““You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? If you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭43‬-‭48‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

*****

Well, it is Thursday...

How is the week nearly over!!!?

Rise and Shine...

It's a new day!

Make it a great one!!

Pup Cuddles...

And then,
Bible Study Pack Time...
I am enjoying Matthew...
I am reading the
Beatitudes this morning!

This is for the other of the two
Great Grands...
Still not into the pink...
I may have to make two more
just to get to the pink!!!

Day two germination...

I may harvest the bottom tray
to prep for freeze drying...
I think the middle tray will be ready
to give to Rob and Molly on Saturday morning...

Dreaming of breakfast...

Lanny is making his breakfast...
had more tartar sauce to put on his burrito...

Prepped ground beef
for the freeze dryer...

Out to the Barnyard...
Chilly, but not as cold
as the last two days...

Threw out some wilted lettuce
left over from the other day...
I had planned to use it last night
but forgot it was Wednesday
and we never eat dinner on Wednesday... :-)

Egg hunt...

We have a LOT better luck
finding Pup Piles
than we do eggs these days :-)

Prepping lemons for the freeze dryer...
I LOVE having lemons
for the Sparkly and just to drop in
our water!

I slice them and he seeds them...
seeds take SO long to freeze dry
so it is better to remove them...

Found some cukes and peppers
hiding in the garden...

Lemons ready to pre-freeze
for drying...

Our Sadie Grace!

Roses for the Ladies...

My Man mowing the dog yard...

Dumping the clippings
(not much grass)
and leaves...
the goats LOVE the leaves...
they also like to climb
on the mower :-)

Update on the construction site...
Lookin' Good!!!

Pulled some weeds...
the chickens and Baby think it's a REAL treat!!!

Ran down the hill with Lanny
to Home Depot and Staples...
OF COURSE I have to take
pics of my Buddies!!!

We bought some gorgeous steaks at Costco yesterday...
I pan fried to perfection (125 degrees, medium rare),
added a baked potato and roasted Brussel sprouts...
YUM!!!

It was six large, very thick Top Sirloin...
I marinated them and fried them all...
we ate maybe 1/3 of the meat.
So I vacuum sealed the rest in two packages
so that we can have two more meals...
all I have to do is drop the vac sealed bag
into a pan of boiling water and just warm the meat...
it tastes just like is came fresh off the grill!!!
If you don't have a Food Saver they are
well worth the cost!!!

Well,
the chores are done...
the Barnyard is secure
and we are ready to settle down
with our Pack
and watch the next
"Night at the Museum"...

Goodnight All...

God Bless

and

Sweet Dreams!

God Bless America!!!
