Good Saturday Morning...
Sure is starting to feel like fall!
Pups in their usual spot...
except they are under the same blanket...
Max is waiting for his Daddy...
...who slept in just a little...
Still waiting...
He may be giving him the "cold shoulder"...
They made up...
Cutting my last tray of Microgreens...
I will start new trays when I get home
and settled back into the swing of things...

Daddy's Breakfast Time...

Last Sparkly Day
until I get home and get it going again...
But there is 1 1/2 gallons in the fridge
which will last Lanny several days...
Out to the cold Barnyard!
Giving them their oatmeal and oyster cracker bribe
so they won't trip me going out to the feed bin!
Then they come running when I throw
out corn and sunflower seed...
Waiting for release!
Gave them the roots and stems...
always a winner!
Making some Egg Muffins
for next week...
he ate the last one this morning...
Shining and sealing his work boots
with Mink Oil!
Muffins done!
Berries to the Kiddo's...
Had to run down to Tractor Supply
for a couple bales of Timothy Grass
for the Goats...
Saw the baby Shetlands...
Turns out the owner is the man Lanny bought
the tractor from, so he said we could stop
and talk to them (and pet them, if they let us)
any time we wanted :-)
They grow so fast...
this little one will be big as Mama in no time...
This one was born just a week or two ago
and is already nearly twice as big as he was...
they are so adorable!
Went to the Git-N-Go for
Mama's Old Fasioned Burgers...
YUM!
Won't need supper tonight!!
We brought one home for Paula...
she always watches ballgames on
Saturday, so tonight she won't have to
find something to eat
and miss a touchdown or something :-)
Went over and gave the horses a few carrots...
They love 'em!
Max has found his current favorite spot...
several days now,
but it could change tomorrow...
Doesn't it look peaceful and comfortable out there?
Gave the critters the large tray of lettuce...
They love it too...
expecially Baby!
No supper tonight since we ate such a HUGE burger for lunch...
Came out with a few treats to sit with the critters
for a little while...
I think I was mugged :-)
It's just oyster crackers,
but the LOVE them...
so do the hens!
easy, and inexpensive little treat...
Barnyard is buttoned up for the evening..
had to come in and take my second sterile shower :-)
getting ready for surgery...
only one more day!!!
