Quiet Time in Bible Study...

☔️πŸŒ‚

“Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there! If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me, and the light about me be night,” even the darkness is not dark to you; the night is bright as the day, for darkness is as light with you. For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.”

Psalm 139:7-8, 11-14 ESV

“I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak, for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.””

Matthew 12:36-37 ESV

“The Lord is my chosen portion and my cup; you hold my lot. The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance. I bless the Lord who gives me counsel; in the night also my heart instructs me. I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken. You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”

Psalm 16:5-8, 11 ESV

“Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it.”

Proverbs 3:27 ESV

“to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’”

Acts 26:18 ESV

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.”

James 1:5 ESV

“You have said, “Seek my face.” My heart says to you, “Your face, Lord, do I seek.””

Psalm 27:8 ESV

Hello Weekend!!!

For retired old folks it's not much

different from any other day,

but it is the "WEEKEND" :-)

Pup Pile
and Daddy making a fire...
it isn't super cold this morning
but we do love the fire...

Max came up to say hi,
but then went right down to
the hearth rug!

These two got warm...

Garden Time...

Daddy's Breakfast Time...

The pups follow him
to his office :-)

For their nibbles!

Peppers and onions are finished
and ready to store...
I store them in quart jars...
and keep one in my cabinet
with the spices...
I never use all at once...
I throw a handful into
Lanny's omelet, a small recipe
quick soup, and anything else
that strikes my fancy...

Out to the Barnyard...
Misty, Muddy Barnyard...

The rain did not melt all the snow...
so it is now slippery ice!

Muffins for My Man!

Sparkly Day...

Ran down the hill to get a few groceries...

Ad Lib Bean Soup
with a jar that didn't seal...
added onions, bell peppers, some
freeze dried chicken broth and
VOILA!!!
Yum!

Bought a big roast at Food City,
came home and put it in the InstaPot...
had mashed potatoes and gravy
and broccoli...
YUM!!

So...
"The Day the Earth Stood Still"
was OK...
but probably won't end up in our library...
Keanu was an alien and didn't ever
get to smile :-)

We found a DVD at Walmart for $5
of 10 Tom Cruise Hits...
Tonight we will watch
"Jack Reacher"...
we shall see...

*****

Goodnight my Family and Friends!!!

God Bless You All

and

Sweetest Dreams!!!
