Thursday on Walden's Mountain... January 23

Quiet Time in Bible Study...

🧀

“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; the precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes; the fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; the rules of the Lord are true, and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.”

Psalm 19:1-2, 7-10, 14 ESV

“Do not enter the path of the wicked, and do not walk in the way of the evil. Avoid it; do not go on it; turn away from it and pass on.”

Proverbs 4:14-15 ESV

“Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice! Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!”

Psalm 105:3-4 ESV

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.”

Proverbs 3:5 ESV

“God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?”

Numbers 23:19 ESV

““For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

John 3:16 ESV

Good Thursday Morning!!

Not quite as cold

and we do

have water :-)

...waiting for Pack Time...

Quiet Time in Bible Study...

And the fire is warming up the room quickly!

The fur kids love the fire...
they share pretty well...
one gets hot and moves away
and the next one takes the spot :-)

Garden time,
but as I said, this low humidity
is doing a number...
we have a humidifier in the living room
but it is dry in here...
I may have to run a small one
in here...

Daddy's Breakfast Time...

These two are keeping an eye
on the kitchen door...

Ready and waiting!

This was actually when we came back in,
but the temp is the same...
We try to quickly (very quickly)
fill the water buckets...
Lanny does that because I
cannot lift them....
and get the food issues taken care of...
I also like to rub on the Girls
a bit and give them some lovin'...
So we are out maybe 15 minutes...
just long enough to get cold!! :-)

The water fall is under and in this
ice ball... it is very pretty!
Ice is really quite beautiful!

The Wheat, Kamut and Spelt Berries
were soaked and sprouted...
and ready to be dried...
so I started seven trays drying....

And Rob's Mung Bean Sprouts are about ready...
I will take those to him this afternoon...

Out the kitchen window!!

Headed for Knoxville around 9:30
for my appointment at
Knoxville Orthopedic...

Passed my Pasture Buddies....

Well, my fracture looks good...
I didn't hurt it.
I pulled muscles which is quite painful,
but I am SO thankful that my spine is healing!!!

So, another month of "rest" and no BLT...
Bending, Lifting, Twisting :-)
Pray for me in that area...
I am obviously NOT good at it...

We ate lunch at the Dragon Den on Kingston Pike
just across from Parkwest
and for years it has been DELISH...
but today it was not... Hadn't been there
in a long time... must be new management
or maybe just a bad day...

We also went to the Post Office to mail
some stuff and get stamps...

Then to Food City
(Paula needed some Mountain Dew
and I needed Bananas) :-)

Then to Home Depot for
toilet guts...
you know, the
Fill Valve and Flapper :-)

Then home
and rested a little...

It is already time to put the Kids to bed...
they are leading the way :-)

Tonight we will go to Sadie's
Eighth Grade Night at Jefferson...
this is her last year of Middle School...
UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Probably no movie tonight,
it will be bedtime when we get home :-)

We watched
"Collateral"
last night,
and it was indeed odd to see
Tom Cruise as a bad guy...
but it was a good movie
so we will probably put it in
our rotation...

*****

Good Night Everyone!

God Bless You All

and

Sweet Dreams!!
