A Day in the Life / Friday October 9

Usual morning...on the couch with our Bibles and three dogs and a cat...heaven on earth.

Took a trip to Knoxville to Three River's Market. It had been a while since we'd been there. I bought some organic baking soda and baking powder and some sweet smelling soap...but they didn't have goat meat so we called around and found a Mediterranean Market that would cut to order. Lanny and I had eaten goat when we were on mission in Africa. Goat is the most consumed meat in the world...just not in America. We bought some to introduce to the family and hopefully we can raise our own. I'd love to have a milk goat or two, working goats for the kudzu :-) and meat goats. I won't name the ones we plan to have for dinner...

Three Rivers Market has lots of bulk herbs and spices and SO many great natural and organic foods.

I'm going to look up some Mediterranean recipes because this market has everything you would ever need!! AND they had goat :-)

After our shopping excursion we slipped in to Applebees for lunch and had our favorite meal: Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp.

Now we are settling down to watch the next Marvel movie...Iron Man 3. It usually takes us a couple weeks to go thru them all (we have to watch a few of them over two evenings...we are very early birds...).

Goodnight Y'all!!
