A Day in the Live / Wednesday October 7

Not much going on today. Normal routine: get up at 4ish, have our Quiet Time/Bible Reading til about 6 and then the activity picks up :-)

The chickens DO NOT get up before me, I have to wait til sunrise to let them out of their coop. But our rooster Willie crows at all hours of the day and night, so the minute he sees the light come on his serenade begins.

Dad's Home Health nurse came this morning and he is doing fine.

Paula and Shelly brought in a load of sawdust for the horse stalls.

Lanny discovered some seepage in our big pond which we will have to deal with right away. The pond level is going down and we cannot let that continue... Dad loves catching those big fish  :-)

Dandy and Tokoda are getting some new bedding...fresh sawdust for their stalls.

As usual, the ride around the hills is so beautiful! I think I may need to go out every day...

This is the little pond.. it is FULL of frogs!!

And this is the big pond... the one that is seeping. We are researching options to stop it. The water is already down several feet.
