Quiet Time...

"I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty." -1 Timothy 2:1-2

It is so beautiful right before sunrise...the leaves are turning and the birds are singing...

...and the ducks are SO happy to be out of their box...

**************

We made another run down the hill... more grocery staples for our pantry. And Daddy had some prescriptions at Krogers. As I've said, it's a time away for me and Lanny :-)

The Drake and the Rooster Willie have faced off twice today...it looked pretty violent but no one was hurt. Hopefully it's normal behavior and they've settled their differences...it's been quiet all afternoon so I hope it's over.

The farrier came today to trim the horse hooves..

and James, Molly's Mom, sister and nephews came over to help them finish the loft.

They got a LOT done! They will all return tomorrow to help some more...Molly's sons will be here next weekend and they want to have the loft ready for them to bunk in.

I made pintos, fried taters, greens and cornbread for supper...Shelly joined us and it was really yummy...nothing better than beans and taters...

We got our ducks in a row again...so very cute!

Aren't we getting good at this herd dog game?

Now it's time for Die Hard 3, maybe some popcorn, ice cream and who knows what else... I'm gonna need bigger clothes...

Goodnight Y'all...
