A Day in the Life / Monday, December 21

Quiet Time...

“And she will have a Son, and you are to name Him Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.””

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭1:21
*****

I took care of my morning chores...

and then Lanny and I headed down to Tractor Supply and Home Depot....and, as usual, stopped at Kroger's for a few things. We won't be having Family Night tomorrow but Danny and Sadie will be here and I am going to make Short Ribs...I needed some celery and carrots!

We worked around the house a little and I made us some Sloppy Joe's for lunch...using some home made yeast rolls...they were Mini Sloppy Joe's :-)

Siesta Time as usual...

...Max joined us today...Murphy was under the blankets, but they are ALL here!

We had picked up some Pine Flakes and Pellet Bedding at Tractor Supply so after lunch we worked on the coop and duck house...freshened things up a bit...

Mom, Paula and I worked on our song for Christmas Eve services at Calvary. We always have a 5 o'clock service on Christmas Eve and I have been singing the special for years...this year I have asked Mom and Paula to join me...O Holy Night, and it will be blessed by my 90 year old Momma's voice!!

I made Lasagna for dinner...

It was pretty good...a little runny but that didn't hurt the taste!!

After dinner I put the chicks and ducks to bed and we started watching out for the star! We bundled up Mom and Dad and brought them out to see...Lanny got a photo but my phone just wouldn't focus...it was easily visible with the naked eye...interesting too...

Now we are inside by the fire, eating popcorn (Lanny was eating guacamole and chips) and watching "Earth at Night", the documentary I found on Apple TV.

These two LOVE guacamole!!

Goodnight Y'all!
