Quiet Time....
“Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ.” - Galatians 6:2
*****
Max sure loves reading the Bible with his Daddy in the morning... he also loves playing with the track pad and getting everything out of whack!!
Cold and beautiful...
The ducks are always anxious...
...the chickens, not so much...Willie is young but my hens are 5 years old...about my age in chicken years....I can sympathize :-)I worked on my calendars this morning...for those of you that don't know, I make personalized calendars for each family member...it used to be easier when the grands were little and here all the time, but now I usually just have pictures we take on Tuesdays. They are still very personal tho and everyone seems to like them.
I finished printing, binding and today wrapping. Now they are ready to give out on our Caroling Night (December 22nd).
Lanny worked a bit at his desk and then went outside for awhile. He came in at lunch time to join Daddy for some left over spaghetti and then we went to our favorite after lunch spot...the couch for a nap...
...of course, our fur kids joined us...Maggie in my lap, Maggie beside me, Murphy next to his Daddy and Max in his lap...comfy, cozy...
*****
Mom went down the hill with Paula to Walmart so her little dog Casey never left the living room...he watched the door for two solid hours!
...well, the door and ME! He looks at the door to see if his Mommy is coming and looks at me to see if it's time for dinner!
Lanny mowed the hill until the mower ran out of gas...and then our precious friend Dominique came over for a visit...next time he promised to bring Angela and the kids!!
Lanny took him out in the MULE to see the property...and somewhere out there he lost his car keys...gives Lanny an excuse to go out and look for them :-)
After Dominique got the grand tour Lanny took him home to get his extra set of keys...
For supper we ate left over chili dogs...open faced and grilled under the broiler...not too bad!!
So, the chickens and ducks are in bed for the night and we are in our jammies ready to watch Santa Clause 3...perhaps there will be some popcorn and ice cream in our future (I only ate one hot dog to save room :-) )
Goodnight Y'all....
