Quiet Time....
“and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.”
Hebrews 10:24-25
Lord's Day...
*****
I have to let the chickens and ducks out before sunup on Sundays because I have to get to church for Ensemble Practice...
Hardly first light, and it was still dark enough that my flash went off when I took a pic of the coop...but the feathered friends didn't care a bit...they came right out and started hunting and pecking!
The fur kids aren't crazy about Sundays because we are gone for so long...but they are always really happy when we get home...
We have an Ensemble of 3 men (a tenor and 2 bass) and 6 women (3 alto and 3 soprano). I am a soprano... until this Covid business is over we won't have our full choir back up here. And we are all practicing social distancing...all spread out on the stage...
Sunday School is also down/different. Instead of having separate grade classes we meet 1st - 5th all together. At least we are able to still have our services. A lot of churches are closed down...
Worship Service attendance is also down, but we have a really good crowd in spite of the pandemic...
I made Panko Chicken Breasts with a mixed Normandy Vegetable and Corn dish, Crescent Rolls and Chocolate Cake for Dessert...
We sat down for a little Siesta but I ended up talking on the phone to a friend while Lanny snored :-) I don't really care what we are doing as long as we get to be in the same room sharing the same space.
I had Puppy Land Mine Patrol tonight because he left for church...the chickens and ducks are in bed and I am in my Jammies. I will probably have to fix Mom and Dad a bite to eat (they are old school and need three meals...even when we had a huge dinner at midday :-) )...
I will probably watch a Star Trek episode or two and wait for Lanny to get home...we don't usually have time to watch a movie but you never know!
Goodnight Y'all...
