A Day in the Life / Wednesday, January 6

Quiet Time....

“And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.”

6 bells...breakfast!

Six little dishes....

Maggie and Casey have to have Maze bowls...they both eat way too fast. But Casey can still eat faster than any dog I've ever seen...he is like a vacuum cleaner!

Morning is breaking....

Lanny and I took Casey down to the Vet real early this morning for a manicure :-) He needed his nails cut!

He doesn't like going to the vet...

When we got home I did some dinner prep...making chili for dinner.

Murphy looks so cute warming himself in front of the fire....

I fed Mom and Dad and Lanny some Ramen (I ate red chili smoked oysters!) and then we went down a bit early to stop by the store and take Lanny's glasses back to Walmart to change the bifocals, then we picked Sadie up at 1:30 and headed back up the hill...the dogs were hoping for a nap but no such luck!

Ponderosa Zoo has some new camels and they were all out near the fence when we drove by...

Tuck said "Hello" of course...

...and I could nearly pet this guy thru the car window...he was trying his best to get out of the gate!

When we got home Sadie went right to her homework...she is doing that crazy new math and I am SO impressed that she understands it! No way I could help her if she didn't!

Then we celebrated her Tenth birthday, just the six of us...

...she packed up her books and papers and we went outside to wait for her Mom... of course the horses were out and ready for some visitors! I fed them some carrots and they were happy...

So, Lanny is off tonight (every other Wednesday he and the other sound tech trade off) so we are bathed,
jammied, ready for Harry Potter Deathly Hallows Part 1... and probably popcorn!

Goodnight Y'all!
