It was so warm over the fireplace that Max skipped the cuddles for awhile and went to sleep behind the TV...
Murphy took the spot on the bench...
I did my morning inside chores and headed out into the cold, wet for outside chores...
Chickies were waiting not so patiently!
Paula is nearly finished with the Martin House...she said a sparrow was checking it out this morning...inside the barn! No vacancy for sparrows!!
Today was haircut day in Mimi's Beauty Shop...
Fed my crew crackers and tuna salad...a favorite around here when made with those yummy, creamy duck eggs!!!
...but he has to order parts so he wasnt here long... We finally got to sit down for a quick snooze...
Lanny and I headed for Walmart to get some lettuce for salad and pick up a squirt dispenser for Daddy's Thousand Island Dressing...I had bottles for all the other condiments but needed one more...
We saw our buddies on the way...you can see how BIG the Oreo cow is and how small Tuck is...full grown bulls, both of them!
I had left over (from the freezer) Spaghetti, Garlic Rolls and Salad for supper...I think left over Spaghetti that's frozen is even better the second time around!
It's pouring the rain but my sweetie still went out and did the puppy potty patrol for me...he is a jewel!
I put on my new raincoat and went out the put the chicks and ducks to bed...it actually makes this rainy day chore quite fun!!
Now we are clean, in our Jammies, the pups are waiting on the couch and Lanny is going thru our video library to pick tonights feature... tonight it's August Rush!
Popcorn and Ice Cream cones are probably in our future...
