Quiet Time....

Bible Study Buddies...

Inside chores done...Dad, Dogs, Cats, Meds, Beds...

...then I have to brave the COLD!!!

Twenty Seven is just a little chilly!

The fur kids know what to do on a cold morning...

I made Strawberry Jello, with Peaches, Bananas and Marshmallows for tonight's Dessert! 

I love jello!

I did some housecleaning...vacuumed, shook rugs and blankets...

...then we had tomato soup for lunch...

Lanny and I settled in for a long winters nap...well, how about a short siesta...

All of a sudden Max decided he wanted to be in MY lap...

Mitzi jumped up to get in my lap and was unpleasantly surprised...

She sat there for the longest time until she just couldn't keep her eyes open :-)

Finally we coaxed her into laying by her Daddy and letting us get a little nap!

So, Max in my lap, Maggie under the blanket, Murphy in his dent and Mitzi by her Daddy...whatever works! I don't think she ever relaxed...she is a little odd...

We had a lovely red headed Woodpecker visiting the feeders today... the back yard has turned out to be quite the bird sanctuary!

Lanny had to put a bigger molly plug in Mom and Dad's towel bar...Daddy leans on it and pulls it out of the wall...

...so, he also installed a grab bar to help Dad steady himself as he turns from the sink...

He also put a hook on Mom's parlor closet door for her jacket...

I seasoned up some boneless chicken thighs to cook on our new griddle..

Skipper loves to be close to Daddy...he can't jump up into the chair or on the bed any more...he is getting old...so he LOVES to lay on Daddy's blanket...I guess he feels closer to him that way :-)

Oh my!!! What is that bright shiny thing in the sky? Could that be SUN!!!

Willie loved it too...

he shook out his neck feathers as he let loose with a big Cock-A-Doodle-Do!

It WAS sun, but it didn't last long....

We had Griddled Chicken Thighs, Yams, Beets, Green Beans, Rolls, and Boiled Duck Eggs for Dinner...Shelly joined us...

Still no Family Night Gatherings, but we are hoping to resume those in the spring when we can spread out in the common area...

Puppy Landmine Patrol is done, I've put the chicks and ducks to bed and I am sitting here wondering what is on the movie venue tonight...the fur kids know the drill. They are waiting on the couch and Lanny will be heading for the shower any minute...
