At 6 I headed out to chicken and duck coop...
My three duck eggs (and later in the day Bossy Hen gave me one)...
Daddy came in around 6:30 for his goodies...
My little frog friend likes the ice plant...
Coral Honeysuckle is about to open...
I'll take all the rats he can bring us...
it's the bunnies and birds I'd like for him to avoid!
Prepping for Family Night...
Made Deviled Eggs...
Worked on the water kefir (we call it Sparkly)...
It's a probiotic fermented drink...
At 10 Dad had a visit from a Coordinator from Comfort Keepers...
we will have someone come in to help him bathe. That is about the only thing I cannot do for him...
Fed Mom, Dad and Lanny some soup and then we settled on the couch for a noontime rest...
Then Lanny went back to mulching the drive in front of the chicken and duck house and also under the pool deck... now there are no muddy spots!
It was hot work so we floated in the pool for around 45 minutes before I had to come in and start cooking...
Shelly and Paula were also working hard...cutting out a window opening in the back side of her breezeway to the back door...

Everyone is gone and we are watching Lord of the Dance...
Michael Flatley. We watch this when we don't have a lot of time.
We've seen it a hundred times and love the Irish Dancing.
As soon as I am finished with this post we will head to bed.
Long day, mostly on my feet and mostly in the kitchen...
but I would not trade it for anything in this world.
