A Day in the Life / Monday, August 23

Quiet Time...

Dad was up early but went back to bed after his coffee and donut...

We spent our usual time on the couch with the puppies and Max...

Headed outside after I made beds and fed the fur kids...

My Feathered Friends were ready to greet the day...

Two duck eggs...

and later in the day another three chicken eggs...

I backwashed the pond...the koi are still tearing up the plants and muddying the water... but not as bad as it was...

I cleaned and filled the hummer feeders...

Lanny and I dug up the potatoes...not a lot, but not too shabby...

Haircut day...Mimi's Barber Shop was open for business...

Dad and Lanny needed a trim!!

Another haul from my two cherry tomato plants!

Fed Mom, Dad, Paula and Lanny some Luncheon Meat and Cheese Broiled Sandwiches... Yum!

Then Lanny and I took a little snooze...

Lanny went out to cut some tree branches and I worked some around the house.

We are going out with Janie and Johnny tonight...they are taking us out for my birthday :-)

Even if I just go out the back door for five minutes and they act like I've been gone for EVER!!

I'm warming up some Spaghetti that I froze for a Mom and Dad meal if we go out...

Made some Garlic Toast and they will have a great meal!

Then Lanny and I can enjoy our dinner at Aubrey's :-)

I put the chickens and ducks to bed early and we will leave around 5 to head down the hill...

I'll try to remember to take a photos or two and post before I publish tonight :-)

It was a fabulous meal with fabulous friends!!!
