Max joined us again!
We had a wonderful Quiet Time...
water sounds, trains, and birds...
and an occasional barking dog :-)
I fed the fir kids and made our bed and then headed outside...
Two of the girls were not anxious to get up this morning...
maybe they knew we were going to get some new hens today!
Three duck eggs today! Yay!

Headed to Maynardville around 8:30 to pick up our new girls...
I meant to take a photo of us catching them but it was traumatic! She had a big net and caught them like fish! I was glad to get them in the crate and on the way home.
They were scared - it was a 40 minute drive so they weren't happy about being crated that long...
however, the old girls were not listening...
Keeping an eye on the chickens to make sure there is no blood shed, and roaming around the compound seeing what's going on...
chit chatting...
I didn't have a carrot so Dandy pulled my hair!

James brought his Drone camera! He took some great overhead shots that I will post tomorrow. Have to do a bit of editing!
Lanny and I managed to get all the chickens into the coop. Took it real slow and herded them in. They are still fussing a little and probably will until it's dark.
But NO bloodshed!
Lanny and I are in our Jammies.
I am finishing this post and kind of watching Star Trek.
We won't watch a movie. Tuesdays are pretty tiring but WONDERFUL!!!
