Dad wasn't up when I came into the front room... I got meds, inhaler, thermos of coffee, his cup and donut ready and waiting...
He came in a little later and took his coffee thermos, cup and donut back to his room...like in the old days before Covid :-) I followed him with his meds.
Settled in with the bundled fur kids, and Mitzi that does NOT like to bundle at the other end... waiting for her Daddy...
Maggie stretches BIG...she does it in the bed at night and nearly pushes us out of the bed (she sleeps between us under the cover)...
she has a dachshund body but those legs!!! NOT dachshund! Her Daddy must have been a doberman!
But she sure is cute, right?!
Got up from the couch at 6...changed our sheets (Monday is sheet day), made the bed, fed the fur kids, put the sheets in the washer, piddled in the kitchen,
then headed out at day break...
that is actually the moon...my camera doesn't capture it well.
It was beautiful!!
The ducks and chickens are tolerating each other...it is just the way it has to be until we get the electric fencing...
Lanny and I headed down the hill to Walmart at 9...I had to order my contact lenses and we needed a few last minute items for tomorrows Family Night... I am having trouble getting the spirit this year...we didn't get to have anything last year with the Covid stuff and this year it isn't much better. James and Tasha cannot come because she is still on the immunosuppressant drugs since her heart transplant. So Olivia won't be here either. Then Isaac, Sky and Sylvia are also distancing a bit because of Tasha. Belle is working. Kyra is working. Nathaniel is in California... I am not sure about Kyrtis and Rayne yet. Last Tuesday they had to work... So... looks like it will be Mom and Dad, Me and Lanny, Robbie and Molly, Paula and possibly our friend Shelly, Toby and Wendy may come and our sweet Sadie will definitely be here...not a bad crowd, but certainly not like in days past. We will still have yummy food, fun and perhaps sing a Christmas Carol or two...

Fed us some Spam Sandwiches...don't judge me :-) I never had Spam growing up and I actually like the stuff...we all do!! :-)
The dogs would have loved to try some...
Lanny and I took a really nice Siesta after lunch... with our usual lazy bunch...
Daddy had his shower today... the shower nurse came at 2 so he is spic and span and all spiffed up!
I'm making Wieners, Kraut, Pinto Beans, Creamed Corn and Cornbread for Supper with left over Chocolate Cheesecake for Dessert!
Lanny picked up the puppy piles, I spent a few moxments in with the fowl kids...gave them some shredded cheese. I know they'd love to be out free ranging...
The kitchen is clean, we are clean and in our jammies...ready to settle down on the couch with our pack...
Daddy watches silent sports in his room - he has headphones but he is so hard of hearing that they don't often do anything but magnify too many sounds at once. He says he can tell what's happening fine with no sound.
Mom watches game shows and old western movies in her room...
I always make a snack for all of us: popcorn, chips and dip, ice cream...no one goes to bed hungry around here...
Tonight we will start the Santa Clause Movies...Tim Allen...they are cute!!
Goodnight Y'all...
God bless us Every One (we will end up watching ALL the Christmas Carol Movies by the end of the month)...
