Quiet Time...

Dad was up... Actually, it's really better when he is.
I get all his stuff together and make his first breakfast,
and then I can sit down and have a full Quiet Time
(usually) with no interruptions...
It was raining hard and there was thunder...
...so Mitzi was having one of her bad days...
she shakes and pants and HATES noisy rain storms!!
Maggie, on the other hand, could care less!!! :-)
I had a dentist appointment this morning
so I finished up Quiet Time around 5:40 and ran Max out of the bed...
had to get more done in less time so I could leave with too much crazy!
I made some Cinnamon Rolls that Lanny could feed him and Dad at 8
(my appointment was at 8).
As soon as I opened the little dog gate to the back rooms Mitzi ran back to get in bed with Mom... it's hard to see her but she is on the upper left side of the bed...
I ran out in the pouring rain to open the duck door and the coop door...
no pictures, it was just raining too hard!
I left for the dentist at 7:30...
I dreaded going because it's been three years.
So much going on with Mom and Dad
and it was just not my top priority during that time.
BUT!!! I checked out great... Thank you God!!
It had to be Him because although I do take pretty good care of my teeth I must admit I didn't spend as much time as I should have. It really should have been much worse!
Two little pits in a tooth that he wants to fill and no deep pockets around any of my teeth.. I am thrilled!!! Now they are cleaned and polished and I am good to go!!
On my way home I took a quick pic of my favorite Bulls!!!

Mom ate in her room.
She is really having fits with her back!!

After lunch our rainy day short Siesta...
Maggie and Murphy closing me in and Mitzi in the floor with her bone...
Lanny had to go to work at the church at 1
and then pick up Sadie at the Bus Stop at 3...

Made Spaghetti and Garlic Toast for supper...
Mom ate in her room again...
Lanny, Paula and Molly are going down to the Courthouse at 5:30 for a zoning review.
We cannot add electrical up here until we are rezoned. It's a long and stupid story, but somehow we aren't even zoned as a residence... tell me how that happens going thru Realtors and Title Companies... anyway, it shouldn't be a problem after they go down and explain. I'll let you know. We may ALL be in jail tomorrow :-)
Lanny picked up the puppy piles and I am going out in a minute to put the chicken feed safely away... I took them out some spaghetti and they were hilarious chasing each other around with long spaghetti hanging out of their beaks :-) I didn't have my camera, of course... but just envision it!!
I'll hang out with Sadie until her Momma comes to get her, then probably just Jammie up and watch a Star Trek episode if it takes them long at the courthouse...it will probably be pretty quick...
We watched Quiet Man last night, one of my favorite John Wayne movies!!
No tellin' what it will be tonight.
Lanny always picks the movies...
