Quiet Time...
“And this is the confidence that we have toward Him,
that if we ask anything according to His will He hears us.”
1 John 5:14
*****
Oooooops! I overslept!
But Daddy did too (he didn't get up til about 5:15)
so I didn't get in trouble :-)
Got his stuff together...
and got settled on the couch for Quiet Time...
Lanny didn't get up til about 5:15 as well, so I DID have some quiet time...
Max joined us...
Mitzi was snuggled into her Daddy's side and was giving me the cold shoulder
when I told her to move...
time to make the bed!
Max is ready for breakfast!!
Fed those fur kids...
and then headed out to the chicken and duck yard!
It's kinda dark in the Blue Bird House but LOOK!!!
One little open mouth!
Two perfect duck eggs...
Meds day...
fixing Mom and Dad's meds for the week...
Decanted the Water kefir...
Made Dad and Lanny a Ham, Egg and Cheese Omelet with Toast...
Gabby and Penny...
They love to swim when we are sitting by the pond...
so glad they like their pond!
And anytime we sit down by the pond
ALL the chickens come gather around...
they want scratch!
Popcorn and Sugar...
And I think Goldie just couldn't hold it til they were done
because she laid in the other nest...
these three are usually together in the same box!!
The babies stick really close to the coop...
I'll be glad when they realize they are hens and start hanging with the big girls!
Now you can see the naked baby bluebird!
Hero Services is finishing up the electrical today...
very exciting!
Hard to see but Matt is up on the ladder...
And Rob (not our Rob) is on this end...
And Lanny worked on the garden...
he will fence it in tomorrow and make me a gate so that in the next week or two I can plant some tomatoes and cucumbers... and whatever else I want to fool with...
A cute picture of Great Grand Sylvia Faye at the park today!
Her Momma sent it...
Coconut...
And voila! She did her job!
Popcorn...
Tadpoles galore!!!
Guess what a favorite duck snack is...
TADPOLES!!!
There's those babies again, huddled in the coop...
Stinkers!
Mowing for the second time this week!!
It is growing like crazy!
They love to play in the shade under the deck!
Dad is spending more time outside now that the temperatures are going up...
Hero Services have completed the electrical job... now our part comes in...
we have to do some individual wiring/re-wiring and then everyone
will be good to go! More Power!!!
I decided NOT to cook tonight... so Lanny cooked.
He went down to Dominos' and picked up some pizza.
We actually got a free pizza reward for our continued service :-)
We like the Extravaganza but I got a Pepperoni for Sadie (it was the free one)...
Mom ate in her room...
Kitchen is clean, the chicken feed is put up, back yard is picked up...
Lanny is already in the shower. We are going to call it a day.
Sadie will be heading home shortly and we will settle down for "Sands of Iwo Jima"... yes, another John Wayne :-)
Last night we watched "Fort Apache"...
Goodnight Y'all...
God bless and Sweet Dreams!
