Monday on the Mountain... May 30

Quiet Time...

"Greater love hath no man than this,
that a man lay down his life for his friends.
John 15:13
*****
Dad was up and ready...

Took care of him, made him a couple Biscuit Roll-Ups and then hit the couch with my Pack...

Finished up around 5:45 and of course I had to move Max out of the bed :-)

Mitzi was on the futon...

Made the bed and fed the kids...
then headed out to face the day!

Ready and waiting...

Gabby's egg...
they stayed in their own house last night...

Headed over to the stalls to give the boys a carrot...

Rotten... just like siblings! :-)

I turned over a board that Lanny is going to use to make a bench and there were doodle bugs and other yummy things... the chickens were excited!!

Even Gabby heard the excitement in their voices and came running!

Second Breakfast:
Sausage, Egg and Cheese Omelet and Toast...
Mom had toast in her room...

Lanny hauling dirt for our turtle habitat...

The girls sunning...

Maggie really gets into it!

For lunch we had Grilled Cheese Sandwiches...
Mom ate in her room...

We did catnap a little while...
nice on a really hot day...
then headed out to play in the yard...

Willow and one of the Pearl Whites...

The "Babies" cuddling...

They followed me in the coop...
they always think I am the treat machine!

Look! Little tomatoes on the plants already!

And blossoms!

Penny and Gabby enjoying the pond...

The Turtle Enclosure so far:
Made them a deep soil spot for burrowing in hibernation
and for egg laying...

We cut a two foot section of large PVC pipe...
they loved that at the other house. Safe and cool...

I think we have a male and two females... but I am not positive about one of them.
If it turns out to be a male we will have to release it.
One male is about all you can have in an enclosure...
as with any animal, they will fight over the girl :-)

Coconut Egg...

Lanny is working on the MULE...
new battery but it won't hold a charge...
may be starter... alternator...
he will fix it :-)

For Supper we had Panko Breaded Chicken Breasts,
Baked Potatoes, Peas and Carrots and Beets!!!
YUM!

Lanny picked up the pup piles, I cleaned up the kitchen...
then I took the chicks and ducks some peas and carrots from dinner... they love 'em!
I put their feed bowls away and closed up the sand box.

Not sure what will be on the big screen tonight...
I'll let you know tomorrow...

Hope you liked the little video tour...
it is on facebook... I couldn't get the movie into the blog...
the file is too big!

*****

Goodnight Family and Friends!!
Love to you all!!!

God Bless and Sweet Dreams!!
