Quiet Time...
"Then saith He unto His disciples, the harvest truly is plenteous,
but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest,
that He will send forth labourers into His harvest.
Matthew 9:37-38 KJV

Dad got up when he saw the light come on :-)
Got him all comfy with his meds and coffee and added a
Breakfast Burrito...
he was good to go!
So I settled down with my Maggie and Murph for some Study and Devotion Time...
Lanny joined us soon after and Max also decided to cuddle a bit...
Mitzi hung around in the floor but never got up on the couch with us...
At 5:45 I made the bed and fed the kids...
Pups in a Row...
And Maggie in her private corner...
Headed out to greet the day...
and the other kids :-)
Penny egg in the coop floor nest...
Evening Primrose...
Look at that big mouth!!
One of the turtles was out and about...
Lanny is playing with the EcoZoom Rocket Stove...
in case we ever need to use it...
the power goes off so often up here that I need alternative cooking options...
we want to build an outdoor "kitchen" out here off the patio to put the wood stove into service...
Headed out to give Dandy and Takoda a treat or two...
Paula came out about the same time and gave them some Hay...
Mom enjoying her Coffee, Boost and Prunes in her Suite :-)
Bread Day... yes, again!!
Ready for first rise...
Penny also laid hers in the nest a little later...
Sugar working on one...
Ready to shape...
Lanny had to go to work so I made the three of us some Wiener Burgers :-)
just cut up left over wieners on hamburger buns... I didn't have any hot dog buns left :-)
Coconut, Goldie and Sugar...
Bread's done...
Lanny got home around noon and ate some left over tuna and crackers and then we sat down for a little rest time... I had some chicken gizzards in the canner so I just daydreamed to the juggle and hiss of the canner for 75 minutes :-)
Fed the Pups and Max at 2...
... then took a little stale bread out to share with the chickies and ducks...
they love anything I take out there...
Awww... egg number three for Opal!!!
Another 6 egg day!
This was a bag of gizzards we brought home from Jens when we processed the chickens in the spring... Robbie and I LOVE gizzards, Mom, and Lanny not at all... Dad will eat a bit but has trouble chewing it these days...
they ARE pure gristle :-)
Lanny cooked supper today!
He ran down to Aubreys and brought home Buttermilk Fried Chicken,
Mashed Potatoes and Gravy...
I made some Normandy Veggies and some Rolls and...
VOILA!!!
A truly Yummy Dinner and I didn't have to cook much!!!
It is raining, again... hopefully the power won't go off..
We finished Marvel.
Not sure what Lanny will pick tonight :-)
