Daddy was up and waiting...
got him comfortable with his coffee, meds and a couple Sausage Biscuits..
Then I got comfortable with my coffee and Bible :-)
Lanny came in around 5...
Made the bed, fed my furry children and headed out to the back 40...
Had a good haul of grubs for the chickens and ducks...
They LOVE' EM!!!
Penny's egg...
Horses were hollering for carrots...
Gabby laid hers between the pots again...
Made Mom some toast and my homemade grape jelly for breakfast...
Then men got Egg and Sausage Omelet and Toast...

Three nest boxes but they often all want the same one...

And then Opal wanted to get in there too!

and gave the birds the berries...

Sugar was just in there for support I guess...
Opal got another nest...
Lanny had to work at the church this morning and missed lunch.
I made Fish Stick Sandwiches with the left overs for our lunch
and then sat down with the dogs...
I was reading but they don't care...
they NAP!!

The pond lily is blooming...
I ran a small black snake out of the coop today...
it seems the eggs have been short the last few days.
I'll have to keep a lookout.
We may have a little buddy that needs to move to the next county!! :-)
Today Hero Services came out and put in a clean out for our toilet...
there wasn't on! Go figure!!
You cannot see it but there were several hummers
eating away at the Coral Honeysuckle!
And Hero did a GREAT JOB!
as usual!
Well, I got distracted again...

Lanny and Daddy went down the hill to Dominos
and brought home a couple Extravaganza Pizzas!!
Deal was 50% off tonight
so we got two large for the price of one!!
I overate!
The yard is picked up, the feed is safe, t
he water bowls are clean and full...
Lanny is in the shower.
