First Day of Autumn in the Hills... September 22

Quiet Time...

“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”

‭‭Galatians‬ ‭6:2‬ ‭ESV‬‬

*****
Daddy was up and waiting for me :-)

Murphy on the right of me...

Maggie on the left...
along with my Sweetie...

And after Quiet Time...
...Max in the bed!

Maggie wasn't happy that I got up....
but she took over my warm spot...

Fed the fur children
and then went out to take care of my feathered kids...

Look at this mess!
I think she is about finished...
there aren't many feathers to go!!

Penny egg...

The turtles are scoping out hibernation sites...

And bathing...

Lanny is eating yogurt for breakfast...
I made Dad a Bacon and Cheese Omelet and Toast...

My little Fruit Bat!

Sugar egg...

Went out to see how it was going with the chipping and sorting in the pole barn.
Paula was going thru some bottles I used to make Root Beer in
and noticed a nest in the bottom... looked like a mouse nest...
so we inspected it...
It was a BLACK SNAKE!
Guess he found himself a nice warm spot to hole up for the winter.

But alas, it wasn't meant to be... we took him out and headed him down to the woods.
We are going to take the bottles to Karm and that would not have been funny
if we hadn't noticed that nest!!!

Sorry, but I really LOVE snakes...
they are beautiful and beneficial...
except if I find one in the chicken coop...
then they must be relocated :-)
This one is welcome to stick around the pole barn,
just not in a box we are planning to take to KARM!!

Lanny is till enjoying his new toy
and we are going to benefit from the chips in next years garden!!

Hauling his treasure to the back garden lot...

I made sandwiches with the left over beef patties from last nights dinner...
YUM!

Then we sat down for our ritual after lunch Siesta!

Lanny went back to chipping and I went out to give the chickens some clean water and some grubs from the biopod...

And came in to find my three little buddies posing for a picture :-)

I made Taco Soup and Fried Cornbread for Supper and Mom ate a little.
She also ate her Cinnamon Applesauce and a Cookie...

Chores are done.
I am in my Jammies and ready for the evening festivities...
Movie time :-)

Lanny hasn't decided what will come next so I will let you know tomorrow...

Mom is better today
and will have another dose of the medicine before bed tonight.
Hopefully she will be even better tomorrow.
She is still very sore, all over, from the fall but that should improve daily as well.
I am going to try to keep her from falling any more....
If I have to strap her to the bed :-)

Goodnight Y'all...
God bless and Sweet Dreams!
