Quiet Time...
"He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds."
Psalm 147:3 KJV
*****
Last night Rob and Molly had a surprise party for James... he was surprised...
several friends he hadn't seen in a while were there
and they also played a little music... he said he had a LOT of fun!!
My BOYS
...both over 50 now!
I'm not even 50 yet!! (HA!!)
*****
Dad was up...
Our Quiet Time once I get Daddy settled...
After our Quiet Time I had to move Max out to make the bed...
Mitzi was in her favorite spot... the futon...
...made the bed and fed the fur kids...
Did a few things in the kitchen to get ready for today's Sunday lunch.
And then...
Time for my feathered kids!
Made Dad an Egg and Bacon Omelet and Toast...
Lanny had already left for church.
He usually eats cereal or yogurt on Sunday Mornings...
Mom had Toast in her room...
and her little buddies...
they keep hoping she will drop something...
Decanted the Sparkley and gave the berries to the chicks...
I also had some left over Spaghetti Noodles that I saved just for the chickens...
they love them and run with them hanging out of their mouths...
like worms!!!
Pizza Casserole ready for the oven...
this is such an easy and super delicious dish to make for a crowd.
Here is the recipe link if you'd like it...
Sugar, Goldie and Penny...
It's really already cooked but I keep it in a warm oven to melt the cheese
and stay warm til company comes...
Yeast Rolls...
Our doorbells work very well! They were really going at it but by the time I got my camera they had worn themselves out :-)
Dig In!
Rob and Molly (actually all of us) really LOVE Pizza Casserole!
Talking Football!
Then it's nap time...
But I had to feed the fur kids first...
it was too close to 2:00 and they were begging!!
Mitzi was shaking because she heard some thunder, Murphy just has this spot picked out permanently and Maggie was jealous! I was surrounded...
Look at this spoiled brat!!
Lanny left for church at 3:30... he has Choir Practice tonight.
I cleaned up the pup piles, put the chicken feed away and made Mom and Dad some Chicken Noodle Soup... As I've told you, it doesn't matter how big our lunch was, Daddy has to have three meals :-)
So now I am in my Jammies, watching Star Trek and finishing this post.
Lanny will be home around 7:30... no movie tonight...
Mom is still feeling well... I believe that her problems this past week were the UTI infection... I will keep a close watch on that from now on.
Goodnight Family and Friends!
God bless and Sweet Dreams!!
God bless America!
