Saturday on the Mountain... September 10

Quiet Time...

“After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!””
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭7:9-10‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Taking a little side step here...

Our Granddaughter Rayne and Rodney got married last year but had a Reception/Celebration last night...
Lanny and I didn't get to go but they had a great turnout and lots of fun!!!

The baby that Rodney is carrying around is our Great Grand Sylvia (Isaac's baby)... she thought Rayne was a Princess and Rodney was a Prince and she was in LOVE!!! She didn't leave their side all night!

James, Tasha, Olivia and her Beau and Sadie.

*****
Back to Johnson Gap...
Murphy doing his cute impersonation...

Made Mom and Dad a Pork Salad Sandwich for lunch...
Mom had her usual audience...

Lanny at a little later... he had run to Loudon to pick up some big barrels and got home around noon...
Dad ate his lunch alone :-)

And after Lanny ate we snoozed a bit...

Sugar... she is the only one laying it seems...

For Supper we had Baked Salmon, Macaroni and Tomatoes, Yams, Salad...
and Brownies for Dessert!

All the chores are done...
I'm ready to call it a Day!
*****

I have a ton of Mexican Rice, Refried Beans, Fajita Filling (Steak and Chicken) in my oven warming up for a party Rob is having tonight for James' 50th birthday!!!
James doesn't know it's a party. He thinks he and Natasha are coming over just to play guitars... We will NOT be attending,
but I am sure we will be enjoying the music :-)
This IS a barn after all, and our houses are kinda attached...
the party is supposed to go from 7 to 10 so perhaps it won't be TOO bad :-)

We will watch Mission Impossible 4 tonight and it has a LOT of action,
so we won't hear the revelry until our bedtime at 8!

Mom is SO much better today. I think it was the UTI that was making her have most of the symptoms she's had this last week... the weakness and confusion.
Thank you for your prayers.
Keep 'em coming!!

Goodnight Sweet Family and Friends...
God bless and Sweet Dreams!
