Sunday on the Farm... October 9

Quiet Time...

Dad was up and hungry... :-)

Got him settled with his coffee and first breakfast 

and then I settled in with my crew for Quiet Time...

Actually it was only Maggie and Lanny...

Murphy stayed in our bed under the covers 

until I was finished with my study time 

and getting up to start my work day :-) 

He missed out on the cuddles 

but I am sure he was nice and warm under those covers :-)

I ran Max out of the bed and he came in 

for some Daddy cuddles before breakfast...

Fed the fur kids, made the bed,

and headed out to the feathered kids...

it was just a little bit chilly!

Made Dad an Omelet and Toast for his Second Breakfast...

Lanny ate his yogurt and banana and was already on his way to church...

I got my Sunday dinner going on the stove and settled down to watch Calvary online... Maggie likes to watch too :-)

I usually watch while I am cooking but this was a one dish meal 

and it just did it's thing on the stove...didn't need my help :-)

From the kitchen window...

I made a Beef, Rice and Veggie conglomeration...

I planned it to be soup but as it cooked it thickened up 

so instead of adding liquid I just left it...

it ended up a kind of casserole... easier than getting out bowls...

Sugar and Goldie laid today...

becoming a routine...

I froze some soldier fly grubs over the summer 

and took some out to the chickies...

they love 'em!

Paula was out playing with her dogs 

as Lanny and Sadie were heading back down the hill... 

he will take Sadie home and pick up Eric (his new sound helper) 

and go to evening service...

He has choir duty tonight so it's his long day...

Sadie Grace...

She is so very pretty!!!

Inside and out!

Well, I picked up the pup piles, put the chicken feed away, 

fed Daddy his Chicken Noodle Soup and

Mom some Peanut Butter and Crackers and Grapes...

I will clean up and get my night clothes on and watch Star Trek...

I also study up on the indoor gardening, 

grow lights, food preservation...

I can multitask :-)

...until Lanny gets home... 

he usually watches the end of a Star Trek with me :-)
