Quiet Time...
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ:
for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one
that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."
Romans 1:16 KJV

Good morning!
The Pack...
except for Max...
Ready for Black Out...
The Veggies are doing well...
Out to the Barnyard...
They laid in two places this morning
and also under the goat ledge...
but I had all four... several days in a row now they all have laid!
Poor Maggie...
She is SO stressed out!! :-)
Hmmmmm...
Dogs!!
Early morning brush burning...
Harvest a small tray of Greens...
And gave the tray to my Chickies...
I made Lanny a beautiful Egg Roll Up (on a small tortilla)
but didn't take a picture...
I will try to remember the next time.
He wanted to eat outside
because he was already busy working...
I made Daddy the other half of Lanny's Omelet
with some Toast and Jelly...
An over ripe tomato (from the store, so even when "fresh"
it had no taste!)...
the chickies don't care...
The fake eggs are working great...
no fights over the nest boxes...
there are two fakes in every nest...
The fakes are CLEARLY marked...
fortunately the hens cannot read :-)
And Pepper is doing so well...
she comes out once a day to bathe in the sand,
hunt and peck and drink water and preen a bit...
She keeps an eye on that nest tho and runs in
if one of the other hens even look at it!
Sunday Morning Worship at Calvary...
We watch it since we cannot be there...
Daddy had a rough morning...
he said he was dizzy and shaky and just didn't feel well...
Our Pretty Sadie likes to sit by Ms. Faye!
Left overs for lunch... some of last nights Mexican and some Sloppy Joes...
Lanny was gathering rocks outside the fence line
and throwing them in for use around the yard...
...the chickens think anything thrown
on the ground is for THEM!!!
There WERE some ants and other buggies on those rocks
so they did get a bit of a treat...
Pepper on her eggs...
Eight of them...
I snuck a picture while she was off of them...
Willow...
Two fakes in each nest and it is working!!
We headed down to the Zoo around 3
to get our babies...
Brought them home and introduced them to their new home...
we will keep them in their house for a day or two
before we let them roam around the yard.
It will take me a few days to name them...
I have to get to know them...
This is the bottle baby...
I snuck her in to meet the dogs...
Maggie just wanted to kiss her!
They are out there crying now and it will be hard
for me not to go sleep with them or bring them in (haha)...
but they ARE goats and have to get used to this house and us...
I am saying that to ME!!!
Anyway, the day is done...
we are ready to get into our jammies
(I will still go out every now and then to check on the babies)
and watch a movie...
We watched Rob Roy last night
so tonight we will watch (or at least start) Braveheart...
Goodnight Y'all...
God bless and Sweet Dreams...
More goat pictures tomorrow :-)
