Monday on Walden's Mountain ... July 24

Quiet Time...

"Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet,
and a light unto my path."
Psalm 119:105 KJV
*****
The pups watching every bite

and begging for Daddy's chips and dip last night

during the movie...

Monday, Monday...

Dad got up at 5...

I was ready...

Greens are awfully pretty...

Salsa finished and out of the Freeze Dryer...

Broke it up and put it into quart jars...

Just a little bit of water or vinegar and it hydrates quickly...

tasting like it was just made!

Out to the Barnyard...

Lanny, Robbie and Nolan

discussing who will win the trophy

at today's Golf Match :-)

I'll let you know the score when they get back :-)

Sparkly Day...

Baby is not interested

but Fiona LOVES the berries and juice!

Max has no trouble relaxing...

anywhere!

Made Dad some French Toast Sticks

for Breakfast...

More Kale into the Freeze Dryer...

I think I will have one more load after this!

Herb Bread in the making...

for Wednesday orders...

These two trays are going out to the chickens...

the whole tray, not just the stems...

I like for them to have the greens at least once a week...

Oh MY!! What a rise!

Shaped and into the warm oven for second rise...

Made Daddy a Black Forest Ham Sandwich for lunch...

I ate half of it...

I think it's my favorite lunch meat...

I get it at Aldi's...

The ducks like it when I sprinkle them with the hose...
I guess they think it's raining :-)

Lanny brought the girls some Willow Branches...

they love it!

Well, the men are back from their golf outing...

Lanny shot a great round, and was very happy with his score....

and only lost by a few strokes (6)

which is pretty good for an "old guy" :-)

that's about 1 stroke for each decade of age difference :-)

He's 53 years older than our Grandson Nolan,

who Lanny says is a really good golfer!!!

Bottom Line...

They had a great time!

*****

Lanny went out to get a few more branches for the goats

and some sawdust for the duck house...

which is more of a dust bath house

for the chickens these days :-)

For Supper we had BBQ Chicken (home made sauce),

 Stewed Potatoes (Lanny's favorite)

and Peas and Carrots

 with Garlic Herb Toast...

We took the dogs out after dinner

to run the perimeter of the yard...

They LOVE it..

Chores are done...

We are ready for our evening rituals...

Jammies, movie,

snacks and snuggles on the couch,

and an early bedtime!

Another Marvel Movie tonight...

Goodnight Family and Friends...

God Bless

and

Sweet Dreams!
