Quiet Time...

Last Night...

The whole gang waiting for Daddy 

to sit down and start the movie...

Good Morning SATURDAY!!!

Actually, every day is about the same 

when you are retired :-)

Ready for Dad

 

and just as I started to sit down

 

he flipped his light on...

Pack Bible Study Time!!!

When we sit here in the morning 

Casey comes out about every fifteen minutes 

and looks at me to see if it is breakfast time yet... 

I just shake my head no

 

and he turns around and goes back to his little bed :-)

And Max is three feet from the doggy door 

but "knocks" instead.

He pulls the screen door open with his claws

 

and lets it slam until we get up and let him in!

Unless he has an animal in his mouth... 

then he comes in the dog door real quick 

and lets his prey loose in the house if it is still alive!!!

Microgreen Time...

they are really so beautiful!!!

And SO YUMMY!!!

I make the bed after I take care of the greens 

and then come into the kitchen to take my morning vitamins

 

and today these two were waiting for me

 

to get to the real business of their breakfast!

I prepped some fabulous Pizza Sauce

 

to prefreeze and then freeze dry...

UGO had a great sale on this... 

for about $8 I got 15 pounds of Pizza Sauce...

and freeze dried I can take out just as much or as little 

as I want to use without opening a whole jar 

to spoil in the fridge...

I LOVE freeze drying!!!

Out to the Barnyard...

Took the goats some organic banana peels...

Made Dad and Lanny some Pancakes,

 

Sausage and Banana Slices...

Sparkley Day...

I got my new kefir grains yesterday 

so the next batch will be a little more

 

until they settle out and get into the groove :-)

And these two kids get the berries and juice...

And I dead headed some roses

 

and these Kids LOVE those too!!!

Paula and Robbie are working 

on the Breezeway foundation this morning...

Gave the Bunnies some lettuce, 

peppers and carrots...

Violet likes the curly lettuce...

The Kids and Chicks like lettuce too...

Rob working on the concrete pads for the breezeway...

And James didn't want this exercise bike anymore

 

so Rob brought it over for the Common Room...

we can all use it...

or not :-)

Lanny is working on the back area...

weed eating and moving boards...

...he brought up some aged horse manure

(full of worms)

 

 for the chicks and ducks...

Dad slept thru lunch

 

so I made Lanny and I a Black Forest Ham Sandwich...

I did make Dad a little something when he woke up...

Then we snoozed for a little while...

had all three of the fur kids...

And look at my little MESS!!!

Maggie is THE biggest baby around!!!

Putting some candy into the freeze dryer

 

for next weeks orders!

For Supper I warmed up 

some frozen left over Tater Tot Casserole,

 added some Steamed Broccoli, 

Sliced Yellow and Red Tomatoes from the garden, 

my newest baked Dinner Rolls 

and we had Cottage Cheese and Peaches for Dessert...

YUM!!!

Went out to get everyone ready for bed...

the ducks were taking their evening bath :-)

So the chores are done...

We are ready to get cleaned up, in our jammies, 

settled down on the couch with the Pack 

and watch "The Proposal"... 

another Sandra Bullock movie...

Angel, the big Koi is still alive... 

we are hopeful 

although she is not acting like her old self.

But you never know... 

she may make it.

We are hoping!
