Up and At 'Em!
Dad got up right after I did
so I took care of him and settled down with my Pack...
No changes...
Out to the Barnyard...
no rain this morning...
Grinding some of my sprouted and dried wheat berries...
I ground it fine for bread...
I have a manual grinder
that will come in handy if we lose electricity,
but as long as I have this powered one I will use it...
Manual wears out my arm!! :-)
Making 4 pounds of wheat/white half and half..
It is cold outside, but inside is toasty warm...
wood heat is SO nice!
Ready for first rise...
I have measuring cups and spoons all over my kitchen...
I use so many of them...
Now prepping some herb bread dough...
White/Wheat and Herb Bread
rising in the oven...
Four pounds each...
The chickens LOVE the Goat House!!
So Max was really enjoying the fire today...
for some reason the dogs let him be...
they usually just want to wrestle...
He changed poses four time...
I guess he was warming ALL sides :-)

Smells SO good in here!
I brought the bread in to show Dad
and Lanny said
"Let me get a picture of it"...
then he said
"move over to the right..."
I think he REALLY wanted a picture of the stove...
HaHa!!!
Lanny loaded Dad up in the car
and took him on a Scenic drive...
He loves to go out...
it is happening less often as time goes by...
It is SO hard for him to get into the car...
even when we help...
The Girls love the sunshine!
For Supper I made Black Beans and Rice
and Cornbread!
Well, last night we did finish "Dances With Wolves"
and still had time to watch
"Ladder 49"
So tonight we will watch another Fireman Movie...
"Backdraft" :-)
