Quiet Time...
🕊”Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor; not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality.“🕊
Romans 12:10-13 NASB
*****
I sat on the couch watching Dad on his monitor all night...
he was combative, agitated, hallucinating...
not a good night...
Lanny came in about this time
and started a fire for me...
Sweet Sweet Man!!!
My Sleep Watch
recorded NO sleep...
I knew that already :-)
All three pups slept beside me all night,
but I had to keep jumping up and disturbing them...
they hung in there anyway:-)
Got my Sunflowers first thing
when I turned on iHeart Sunny Radio...
Everything was out of sequence this morning...
I did my Bible Reading but not the devotionals...
I tried to doze a bit and Lanny kept an eye on Dad...
The Greens did get watered and checked on...
There are some very tiny sprouts
coming up in the Lettuce Tray...
Out to the Barnyard Babies...
Had some tomatoes that needed to go out to the critters...
you just cannot find good tomatoes this time of year!
Max was enjoying the fire...
he still smells like skunk,
but it isn't unbearable :-)
Dad was still agitated but not fighting unseen enemies...
he was staying relatively stationary in the bed
so I just kept the monitor on and leaned back on the couch to doze...
I did get some good rest and Lanny stayed close...
I will be ready for tonight if he gets bad again...
the Hospice Nurse came this morning
and felt that he may be in the end stages...
we will just try to keep him comfortable...
I made a Peanut Butter and Jelly Roll Up for our lunch...
We love those things...
And Lanny just ran down the hill
to get some Manwich and Ground Beef and Buns
so we could make a Sloppy Joe...
I am worn out and ready for a little "fast food" :-)
he doesn't even know what I am saying to him
so he hasn't even had Boost today...
Lift him up in prayer...
for peace, no fear and comfort...
We will try to watch the next Star Trek...
"First Contact"...
I keep Dad on the big monitor and go in and out any time he stirs...
I am hoping he won't be as agitated as he was last night...
Goodnight Family and Friends...
God Bless
and
Sweet Dreams!
