Quiet Time...
"Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;"
Matthew 5:43-44 KJV
*****
Sleep Watch says I got 5 hours and 45 minutes sleep!!!
I got up to check on Dad regularly but was able to get back to sleep!!!
HooRay!!!
Good Morning Tuesday!!
And when I came in to the living room
Lanny had already made a fire and was sitting and waiting for me...
he got up at 3 :-)
Sweet Thing!!
Bible Study Time...
Max's favorite verse...
John 1:16...
"For of His fullness we have all received,
and grace upon grace."
Relaxed...
Greens Time...
Back on schedule...
Sunflowers, first thing!
Mags and Max...
enjoying the fire...
Mushrooms out of the freeze dryer...
I love having mushrooms always handy...
without having them in the fridge...
I can just grab a handful to add to whatever I need them for...
they rehydrate very quickly!
Five Quarts!!!
Max stretches and turns all directions
to get an even heating :-)
Out the the Barnyard...
Maggie cannot wait!!
Yep, it's my big spoiled baby Maggie!
And Daddy's big spoiled baby Max!
Sparkly Day...
She is spending a lot of time on the box lately :-)
Especially when it is sunny!
Three eggs this morning and another later in the day...
plus the duck egg... Five eggs today...
I had seven a couple days ago...
they are revving their engines :-)
It's a Dog's Life!
Lanny is cleaning up the pole barn...
Had some left over shredded lettuce...
they all like it!
Chicken in the Goat House...
of course!
Cooked Green Beans
going into the Freeze Dryer...
Comfort Food for Supper...
Buttered Noodles with Garlic and Asparagus
and SHRIMP!!!
And some biscuits...
Dad ate pudding twice today...
I have to feed it to him but he says it's GOOD!!!
The medicine is really working to keep him calm...
He is comfortable...
I talked with James today...
I haven't mentioned his situation much because nothing has changed...
He will start chemo next Monday and radiation the following Wednesday...
I will have reports on him as time goes by...
He feels fine and his attitude is excellent!!!
God is good and has it ALL under control!!
Paula has one more week of chemo and radiation...
she is feeling well except for fatigue
on Tuesdays and Wednesdays after the chemo on Monday...
also the water weight gain from the steroids
has her a bit uncomfortable,
not to mention tight clothing...
but that will go away once the treatments end...
She will get a three month break and then start the Immunotherapy...
A lot to ask, but keep them all in your prayers...
I know you do because we can feel them!!!
Tonight we will watch the next Star Trek...
"Insurrection"...
Hoping Dad has another good night...
Goodnight Family and Friends!
God Bless
and
Sweet Dreams!
