Leaving the door open

And Quiet Bible Study Time...

Out to the Barnyard...

They are enjoying the bark on that pine
we brought up..
Egg Hunt...
and, trying to keep from getting wounded
by Miss Broody Pepper...
she is still under there...
she is nearly skin and bones!!!
She does come out now and then to eat
and drink... but she has been in there SO long...
It is impossible to get one out
that is determined to stay on the nest!

I sat him in a flower pot :-)

He is putting an awning on the end of the porch
to help keep the sun off...
it should help keep it cooler...
we also ordered a fan...

Ordered a Rotisserie Chicken
from Costco so...
For Supper...
Chicken, Buttered Garlic Pasta
and Salad...
Well, it is HOT!!!
We are heading out to spend a "few" minutes
with the Barnyard Gang...
99 degrees!!!
And that is in the shade on our porch!
Trying to untie my shoe...
We put the goats in their house
with hay and some grain...
it is much cooler in there...
they have a fan!!
Then I gave everyone fresh water
and some sunflower seed
and we had HAD it...
When we came in it was 100!!!
Chores are done,
everything is ready for the evening...
and we are too!!
SO glad to have air conditioning!!!
