Wednesday on Walden's Mountain ... July 10

Quiet Time...

🦋🌸

“But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these. All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.”

‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬-‭5‬, ‭16‬-‭17‬ ‭

“Do not let kindness and truth leave you; Bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good repute In the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your body and refreshment to your bones. When you lie down, you will not be afraid; When you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭3‬-‭8‬, ‭24‬, ‭27‬ ‭

Last night while we were watching our movie
Paula called to tell me Max was running toward the
barn with a bunny!
He usually trys to bring his catches in thru the dog door
but I caught him at the back door...
He was knocking and meowing and that poor
deceased bunny was hanging from his mouth...
He dropped it at the door...
it is a little hard to see...

Needless to say
we made him leave it OUTSIDE
'til his Daddy could come get it
to lay it to rest...
We are overrun with bunnies
but I would rather he caught rats and mice :-)

Hello Wednesday!!!

Quiet Time Bible Study...
77 is way too warm to open the door :-(

Murphy had another bad morning...
didn't eat and moped around... :-(

My progress last night...

I like this pattern
and it works up fast!

Indoor Garden Time...

Now, out to the barnyard...

Maggie nearly caught a rabbit herself this morning...
it ran and was caught in the fence just long enough for Maggie
to catch it, but it managed to get away...
She was pretty proud of herself tho...

Pup Pile Pickup...
The morning is SO nice and cool...
the temp dropped a bit from 77...

Lanny is going to chip some branches
while it is cool...

At first the chickens and Fiona are a little
nervous with the noise of the chipper...

Ducks and chickens LOVE to lay eggs
in the goat house...

My Sage Ducks...
the blue dye I put in their pond to control the algae
dyes their feathers a bit...

Started another Microgreen tray today...

After a little while the goats AND chickens
don't care about the noise at all...

We went out in the truck
to get some pine and willow
for the goats...

It is SO dry
and the little pond is very low...
We sure could use some rain...

It is hard to see but this tree that fell is being held
up by a vine...I guess it is a Kudzu vine...

A dead blackberry vine...
they'll LOVE it!!

Time for a feast!!

Paula's backyard...

Materials for Nolans room
and the front of Rob and Molly's house...
Exciting!!!

Paula and I heading out for
Sister Run-A-Round Day...

This is what the dogs do when I am gone...
Casey watches the door...

Maggie and Murphy stay on the
front room bed...

And the goats just chill...
they don't really know I am gone :-)

We made deliveries in Clinton first.
stopped at the bank...
then headed to Oak Ridge.
We made deliveries and went to
 an appointment for Paula...
we ate some lunch (a little later than usual)
at Dairy Queen...

We also went to Hobby Lobby...
this was a cute sign that I think
I will recreate with my Cameo :-)

The chores are done,
we are ready to call it a day...
the goats are in their house
and the chickens are ready for bed...

...we will be shortly.
Tonight we will continue our
John Wayne week
"The Cowboys"...
another favorite!!

Goodnight All,
God Bless
and
Sweet Dreams!
