"Eighth Grade Night"

last night...

we watched the end of the 

girls basketball game

as Sadie and the team cheered...

Then the 8th Grade Students

were recognized,

escorted by parents...

James was able to come!!!

Good Morning Friday...

Heat wave :-)

Max and Murphy's sleeping arrangements

last night...

Maggie, of course, slept with us...

but she usually follows me

into the living room in the mornings

and positions herself for the

Pack Time activities :-)

Getting a fire going...

...for our Pack Time Bible Study...

Roaring!

...and Max is in heaven!!

NOT happy with my Garden...

gonna go hunt up my small humidifier...

Fur Kid Chow Time....

And Daddy Breakfast/Share Time...

They stay on his heels...

And yes, Max knows how to knock on the door...

I let him out five minutes ago to do his business

and he is back knocking!!!

He puts his claws into the screen

and pulls back far enough to

bang the door...

he will do that until

we let him in :-)

Nibble Time...

And after nibbles

a nice warm rest...

Time to head out to the Barnyard...

not as cold this morning...

Making the ducks a mud puddle...

Friends...

Thirteen pints

of chicken broth into the canner

double decker...

I will NOT be lifting it

ever again...

I will call my Honey!!

Boy that is close...

I don't think Maggie realized it

until Murphy moved :-)

Lanny ate leftovers for lunch...

I've been nibbling all morning

so I didn't eat a lunch,

per se....

The Balroc lives there....

all sealed...

no siphoning!!!

Sparkly Day...

AND!!!

Toenail cutting day...

Tiffany comes over when we need her

and cuts the dogs nails for us..

Murph doesn't like it

but he is not too bad...

Maggie HATES it!

That's why I had Lanny hold them...

I was afraid I'd hurt my back

trying to wrestle with her :-)

But once we were done

she took a cookie from Tif

AND was all over her for kisses...

For Supper

I made Eggs, Bacon, Biscuits and Gravy...

Put the Goats up...

the barnyard is buttoned up for the evening...

Tonight we will continue with

our Tom Cruise marathon...

only two movies left:

"Vanilla Sky" and "Tropical Thunder"...

I think we will do "Vanilla Sky" tonight...

The other one sounds kinda weird...

but we will try it tomorrow night...

so far we have liked them all...
